The court said, "The order passed today (Tuesday) shall not in any way curtail the right of the petitioner to go abroad for treatment in terms of the order passed by the Supreme Court dated August 10, 2026."
"The petitioner has to cooperate with the investigation and shall comply with the notices, if issued to the petitioner in connection with the criminal prosecutions. At least 48 hours' notice shall be issued to the petitioner," it stated.
Justice Bhattacharya observed that there was no need for custodial interrogation in relation to these three FIRs and directed the police not to take any coercive steps against him till Nov 30.
