Haryana extends lockdown in state till May 24

On Saturday, chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar appealed everyone including various political parties to join the government's fight against Covid.

Chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar has urged the farmers to call off their protests against the farm laws in view of the Covid wave.
Haryana has extended the lockdown in the state by one more week in order to contain the covid wave.

Announcing the extension, Haryana's minister Anil Vij said that stringent measures will be taken to implement the restrictions.

On Saturday, chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar appealed everyone including various political parties to join the government's fight against Covid.


He also urged the farmers to call off their protests against the farm laws in view of the Covid wave.

Haryana reported 9,676 cases on Saturday taking the toll below 10,000 after a long gap.
