Haryana CM Khattar announces Rs 1 crore compensation for DSP killed by mining mafia

Deputy Superintendent of Police Surender Singh was killed by the mining mafia at Nuh in Haryana where he had gone to investigate an illegal mining case.

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today announced Rs 1 crore compensation and jobs to one of the family members of slain DSP Surender Singh.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Surender Singh was killed by the mining mafia at Nuh in Haryana where he had gone to investigate an illegal mining case.

During the course of investigation, the DSP was run over by a dumper driver and was crushed to death.


Manohar Lal Khattar expresses his condolences and assured the bereaved members of his family that the culprits will be arrested as soon as possible and strict punishment will be given to them.

The CM said that Surender Singh was a brave officer and his bravery will always be remembered.

Police officers said search search operation is on to nab the accused.
