Noida's DLF Mall of India, Ambience Mall in Gurugram receive bomb threats; search underway
The Gurugram district administration received a bomb threat via email on Saturday at 10 am, targeting all the malls in the region. The threat led to immediate search operations involving the police, dog squad, and the civil defence team.

"After receiving the email, the district administration started search operations in the malls. Police administration, dog squad, civil defence team are engaged in the search," said Mohit Sharma, Chief Civil Defence Team, Gurugram.
"A security mock drill was conducted in DLF mall. These kinds of drills are conducted to conduct checks in large areas to make sure that no one is in danger. Fire services, dog squad, and police teams participated in the drill," DCP Noida Ram Badan Singh said.
Gurugram's Ambience Mall was evacuated soon after the bomb threat was received. Bomb squad and fire brigade teams rushed to the spot.
People evacuated from DLF Mall, Noida
Several people were evacuated from DLF Mall of India in Sector 18 here on Saturday triggering fear of a bomb threat even as the mall authorities said it was a security drill. In another post on the social media platform, he shared the image of a vehicle of the bomb disposal squad at the mall and wondered if it was "still a mock drill".
In a statement issued around 1.35 pm, the DLF Mall of India said the "activity" was a security drill conducted in collaboration with Noida authorities.
"We are pleased to confirm that the mall is now open and fully operational," it said.
On May 1 this year, panic gripped multiple schools in Delhi NCR, including Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram, and Faridabad, after they received emails about bombs being planted on their campuses.
