The LB Nagar Metropolitan Magistrate Court has sentenced a man to clean the police station for two days and imposed a fine after he was found guilty of harassing a woman and creating a disturbance in Gurramguda, within the Meerpet Police Station limits in Rangareddy district.

The incident occurred when Sandhya, a Gurramguda resident, lodged a complaint at the Meerpet Police Station. She alleged that Ramesh, a 36-year-old local, verbally abused her during an argument and caused a disturbance.

Following an investigation, the police brought Ramesh before the court. The magistrate directed him to contribute to the Swachh Bharat mission by cleaning the police station for two days as part of his sentence. Additionally, a fine was imposed on him. The case is overseen by Nagaraju, the Inspector of Meerpet Police Station.
