Gujarat building collapse: Death toll rises to 7, many feared trapped as rescue ops continue
The death toll in the Surat building collapse rose to 7 as SDRF & NDRF retrieved bodies from debris on July 07. Rescue operation at the incident site is still underway as 6-7 people are feared to be trapped under rubble. Earlier on July 06, the six-storey building collapsed in the Sachin area in Gujarat. Among 30 flats in the building, 4-5 flats were occupied, while the rest were empty at the time of the incident. More details will follow.
