A tragic incident occurred in Greater Noida when a 33-year-old woman, along with her six-month-old daughter, reportedly jumped to their deaths from the 16th floor of their apartment. The woman had been facing health issues and battling depression, according to the police.

The incident took place late on Tuesday night at a group housing society in Greater Noida West.

"The woman was a resident of the society and her brother informed the police about her illness and depression," said a police spokesperson.

The local police station is currently handling the legal proceedings related to the case.

Seth was apprehended in Chitradurga, Karnataka, on Monday night and subsequently brought back to Goa. A court in Mapusa town granted six days of police custody.

The accused revealed that she and her husband were estranged, and divorce proceedings were underway. According to her LinkedIn page, Seth is the CEO of Mindful AI Lab and was recognized among the top '100 Brilliant Women in AI Ethics for 2021'.

The sequence of events began when she checked into a service apartment in Candolim, North Goa, on January 6 with her son. After a two-day stay, she informed the apartment staff of her intention to travel to Bengaluru for work, requesting them to arrange a taxi. The staff suggested a cheaper option, advising her to take a flight instead.

Later, when the apartment staff went to clean the room in which she stayed, they found blood stains on a towel,
