Govt delegation to meet Jarange to discuss quota amid warning by OBCs
Mumbai: Beed, Dharashiv and Parli were shut and Maratha protestors blocked roads in Nanded, Hingoli, Dhule-Solapur highway on Thursday in support of Maratha leader Manoj Jarange Patil as his fast entered the sixth day on Thursday. Patil is on a fast in Jalna seeking Kunbi caste certificates for Marathas in Marathwada. The Maharashtra government has now sent a delegation of ministers to meet Jarange.

The OBCs are opposed to the Marathas (considered upper castes) being included as OBCs.
