Google: Can't dilute download warning
Google has told the Delhi High Court that it cannot dilute or modify the disclaimer it displays when users download Winzo's gaming app using its search engine. The statement came in response to HC's query of whether a softer warning could be issue...

Google clarified its stand in response to HC's March 24 query that whether a milder warning could be issued, after the gaming company said the users who downloaded its app via Google got a message saying it "may harm your device. Do you want to keep Winzo.apk anyway?" The court had asked Google whether it could say the app was harmful when it did not have verified reports about it.
Posting the matter for further hearing on October 19, a division bench led by Justice Manmohan said Google was not controlling the World Wide Web. "...show us the guidelines that it is binding you to display such warnings," it told Google, asking it to reply in three weeks. The firm said it was doing this in accordance with Information Technology Rules, 2021.
