‘Gone are the days when the meek inherited the earth’: Piyush Goyal over US tariff challenge

While noting that Indian industrialists and media remain curious and apprehensive about the days left to the deadline, he remarked, “Gone are the days when the meek inherited the earth.” Underscoring India’s growing trade confidence, Goyal stressed that Indian conglomerates firmly stand with the nation. On China, he clarified that trade talks with Beijing are unrelated to US negotiations, while expressing optimism that several trade deals with the EU are in the pipeline.
