Girl dies while boyfriend spends 90 minutes searching the internet for bleeding solutions after sexual encounter

A 26-year-old man has been arrested in Gujarat’s Navsari district in connection with the death of a nursing student. The incident occurred on September 23 after the two engaged in a sexual encounter in a hotel, during which the woman began bleeding heavily. Rather than seeking immediate medical assistance, the accused spent crucial time searching online for remedies.

Accused Searched Online for Remedies

According to investigators, instead of taking the victim to the hospital, the man used his phone to search for ways to stop bleeding during intercourse. Authorities reported that the delay in seeking medical help was a significant factor in her death.

The police revealed that the accused even attempted to continue the sexual encounter, despite the woman’s severe condition. Jalalpore police have charged the man with culpable homicide not amounting to murder, along with destruction of evidence.

Forensic and Postmortem Findings

Navsari Superintendent of Police, Sushil Agrawal, stated that forensic reports confirmed the woman died from excessive blood loss. “The forensic report stated she died due to excessive bleeding. Instead of calling 108 or medical assistance, he contacted his friends and transferred her in a private vehicle after waiting for them. Had she received emergency medical aid with IV fluids, blood, and medicines, she would have survived,” Agrawal said.

The postmortem report further indicated that severe injuries in the woman’s private parts led to haemorrhagic shock, resulting in her death. The woman was a first-year nursing student in Navsari, and the two had reconnected via social media seven months prior.

Events Leading to the Arrest

The police report suggests that after spending private time together, the man noticed the bleeding but chose to remain in the hotel for an extended period, between 60 and 90 minutes. The victim was declared dead at the hospital at 2:15 pm. Additionally, the accused cleaned up bloodstains in the hotel room to cover up the incident.

The man was remanded in police custody by a local court until October 4. Investigators are working to reconstruct the events of that day and determine the extent of evidence destruction.
