G20 events a chance to showcase J&K's culture: LG Manoj Sinha

Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has urged women entrepreneurs, tourism stakeholders, innovators and youth clubs to come together to showcase a vibrant and progressive J&K during India's G20 presidency.

It's a unique opportunity to showcase 'Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat', Sinha said while addressing the 21st edition of the monthly radio programme 'Awaam Ki Awaz'. "It is an opportune moment for J&K to showcase its cultural richness and tourism potential on the world stage," he said.

Sinha invited suggestions for the G20 events to be conducted in J&K. He said "around 5.5 lakh rural women are associated with handicrafts, household and small-scale industries", besides looking after their family and contributing in farming activities.
