Details of the Incident
In the early hours of Friday, two individuals on motorcycles allegedly threw cow body parts onto the temple premises, leading to unrest in the community. Authorities swiftly acted, arresting four persons under various sections of the Indian Penal Code for hurting religious sentiments and other offences. Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Manoj Kumar Singh confirmed these details to reporters.
Identification and Arrest of Accused
Additional Superintendent of Police Rakesh Khakha identified the accused as Salman Mevati (24), Shakir Qureshi (19), Noshad Qureshi (40), and Shahrukh Sattar (25). Mevati and Qureshi were arrested on Friday, while Noshad and Sattar were apprehended on Thursday. Khakha noted, "Noshad has 20 cases against him and has also been externed once from the district."
DIG Singh stated, "An attempt was made to disrupt the peace and harmony of the area. However, timely measures prevented any flare-up. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav had asked the police and administration to take strict action." In response, the local administration demolished illegal portions of the houses belonging to the accused.

Security was significantly increased in Jaora after the incident to prevent further disturbances. Jaora's Shahar Qazi Hafiz Bhuru appealed for peace, stating in a letter, "I urge everyone to maintain peace and harmony in the town." The authorities emphasized their commitment to maintaining order and ensuring community safety.
