Former World No. 1 shooter Ronjan Sodhi and Tricone Group join hands to launch international-level shooting range at Alibaug

Tricone Group has partnered with Ronjan Sodhi, former World No. 1 Double Trap shooter, Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna recipient, and Arjuna Awardee, to set up and lead an international-standard shooting range at Araaya Alibaug, a TOI report stated. As part of the collaboration, Sodhi will oversee the development of the facility, which is aimed at serving both aspiring shooters and recreational enthusiasts.

The shooting range will include international-standard infrastructure along with elite coaching programmes, athlete development initiatives, recreational shooting experiences, and specialised corporate training programmes under Sodhi’s leadership.

Speaking about the partnership, Ronjan Sodhi said he was pleased to join hands with Tricone Group to build a world-class shooting destination at Araaya Alibaug.


“I am delighted to partner with Tricone Group to create a world-class shooting destination at Araaya Alibaug. Together, we aim to build an academy that nurtures future champions while providing shooting enthusiasts with facilities that meet international standards,” he said.

Taizun Hassonjee, President of Tricone Group, said the collaboration with Sodhi aligns with the company's vision for Araaya Alibaug.

According to the compaany, the international-standard shooting range will be one of the key attractions at Araaya Alibaug, Tricone Group’s flagship luxury destination.
