Five men in Moradabad have been arrested after a video of them riding on one motorcycle went viral. Local police have charged the five accused and sent them to jail.

Local police have issued a Rs 6,500 challan against the five men - identified as Arif, Asif, Irshad, Shamim and Wasim - under the Motor Vehicles Act. The cops have also charged them for disturbing the peace. All of the men are residents of the Asalatpura area in Moradabad.

The motorbike belongs to a man named Raees Ahmed.


"A video went viral on social media in which five people could be seen riding a motorcycle in Kotwali police station limits. In the video number plate of the motorcycle was visible and based on that identification was done and action was taken. The motorcycle was seized and five persons were arrested," says Superintendent of Police (SP) Traffic Ashoke Kumar.
