Fire breaks out in forest near Modi Mill in Delhi's Okhla, causes traffic snarls

According to them, the local police and fire department are actively fighting the fire. According to the officials, a massive traffic backup occurred on the Mathura Road near Nehru Place and Kalkaji due to a fire that broke out on the roadside.

According to fire officials, a significant fire started on Saturday night in the woodland region close to Modi Mill in Okhla. They said that at least seven fire engines had been called in to put out the fire.

The Delhi Fire Service (DFS) reports that at 4:52 p.m., someone called regarding a fire in the southeast Delhi forest near the Modi Mill Flyover.

According to them, the local police and fire department are actively fighting the fire.


According to the officials, a massive traffic backup occurred on the Mathura Road near Nehru Place and Kalkaji due to a fire that broke out on the roadside.

They said that traffic police officers had been sent out to control the flow of traffic.
