A fire broke out at the Delhi BJP office on Pandit Pant Marg on Thursday afternoon. The incident, reportedly caused by a short circuit, prompted an immediate response from the Delhi Fire Services.

The fire department received a call about the fire at around 4:25 PM. In response, three fire tenders were dispatched to the location to contain and extinguish the blaze.

"Three fire tenders were pressed into service," the DFS official said, adding that the fire was brought under control within a few minutes.

A short circuit in the electricity meter box triggered the minor fire incident, BJP said in a statement.

"We have informed the matter to the police for further investigation," DFS official said.
