A building in Noida's Sector 18 area caught on fire on Wednesday. Four fire brigade teams were called out to the area to bring it under control and provide assistance to people as per news reports.

According to a preliminary report, at least eight people were rescued from the building. But the exact cause of the fire has not been determined yet.

The Chief Fire Officer, Arun Singh, said in a news report that nearly a dozen people were stranded on the second and third flood of the office building when the fire broke out and the teams managed to safety evacuate them all and no casualties were reported. Four firefighters were present on the scene and further details are awaited.
