Fire breaks out near AIIMS Delhi's emergency ward; all patients evacuated
A fire broke out in the endoscopy room on the second floor of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi on Monday, officials said.

Officials said that all the patients in the room were evacuated safely, reported PTI.

No casualties have been reported and the fire is under control, said the AIIMS officials on the fire incident.


"A fire call has been received from the emergency ward of AIIMS at 11.54 am. Total 8 fire tenders rushed to the site," Delhi Fire Services Director Atul Garg said.


The fire was at the endoscopy room, located above the emergency ward, on the second floor of the Old OPD, said sources to news agency PTI.
