Delhi ITO Fire: Fire breaks out at Income Tax office in Delhi, 21 fire tenders on spot

Delhi ITO Fire News: A fire has broken out at the Income Tax CR Building, which is opposite the Delhi Police headquarters. Authorities have despatched 21 fire tenders to the scene. The cause of the fire remains unknown.

According to Delhi Fire Services officials, there was a fire inside the Income Tax CR Building in the ITO area on Tuesday. There was no reported casualty. The old Police Headquarters, which is still home to some of the force's units, sits across from the building where the fire started.

"At 3:07 p.m., we got a call about a fire in the Income Tax CR building. Twenty-one fire tenders in all have been rushed. In order to preserve law and order and conduct more investigation, we have also notified the local police about the situation," DFS representatives stated.



Several videos that surfaced on social media purport to show that the building's occupants sought refuge on the window ledge as they fled the fire.
