Financial Express managing editor Sunil Jain passes away

Sunil Jain, managing editor of the Financial Express, succumbed to Covid-19-related complications at AIIMS on Saturday.

Prior to Financial Express, Jain was senior associate editor at Business Standard. He was an alumnus of the Delhi School of Economics.

Condoling his death, PM Narendra Modi said he leaves behind an inspiring range of work.


At least 171 journalists have lost their lives to Covid-19 since April 2020, according to Rate The Debate Campaign, an initiative of the Institute of Perception Studies, Delhi.
