The District Court of Faridabad has issued a summons to YouTuber and motivational speaker Sandeep Maheshwari, following a criminal defamation case filed against him by the author Vivek Bindra. The court's directive comes in response to allegations made by Bindra, claiming that Maheshwari had disseminated defamatory content through certain videos and community posts on his YouTube channel, targeting Bindra.

The court has reportedly instructed Sandeep Maheshwari to appear on April 2. Bindra has alleged that the content shared by Maheshwari on his YouTube channel allegedly tarnished his reputation. The court has summoned Sandeep Maheshwari regarding the same. In its summons, the court highlighted concerns regarding the conclusions drawn in Maheshwari's videos, deeming them as unfounded due to insufficient evidence.

Previously, in February, the court had rejected Bindra's plea to remove the contentious videos. The genesis of this legal clash can be traced back to a video released by Maheshwari on December 11, 2023, triggering a series of exchanges in the form of posts and videos between the two. Subsequently, in December 2023, Bindra filed a case in Faridabad.
