Fake alert: BSNL JTO Recruitment 2023 Notification for JTO posts is fake news; BSNL confirms

The fake notice claimed that BSNL would recruit up to 11,705 Junior Telecom Officers in the organization. BSNL has denied that and confirmed that no such recruitment drive has been announced.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) on Wednesday confirmed that a notification regarding the recruitment of 11705 Junior Telecom Officers (JTO) reported by several media publications is fake news.

The fake notice claimed that BSNL would recruit up to 11,705 Junior Telecom Officers in the organization. BSNL has denied that and confirmed that no such recruitment drive has been announced.

"Please beware from fake news. This news report about #BSNL JTO recruitment 2023 is not true," BSNL tweeted from its official page.




BSNL further asked interested candidates to visit its official website, bsnl.co.in to get authentic information regarding its recruitment process.

"No such notice/ advertisement is issued by BSNL. You can find authentic BSNL news only on our website https://bsnl.co.in," it added.

The fake notice also informed that the salary for the selected employees will be between Rs. 16400 - 40500 (2nd PRC pay W.e.f. 01.01.2007). It also stated that candidates who qualify through Direct Recruitment will have different pay scales. All these details are fake. Candidates are advised not to fall prey to such fake notices, which have become rampant over a period of time.
