Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday moved Delhi High Court against his arrest by Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in Excise Policy case, reported ANI.

He has also challenged the trial Court order of June 26, sending him to three-day CBI custody. The CBI had filed an application to send Kejriwal into judicial custody.

The court had allowed his wife Sunita Keriwal and his lawyers to meet him for 30 minutes everyday during the custody. The court also allowed them to carry his prescribed medicines and home-cooked food during the remand period.

He was produced before Special Judge Amitabh Rawat. During the proceedings, the CBI- represented by DP Singh- sought court's permission to interrogate Kejriwal in the adjoining room so that CBI can proceed with his formal arrest.

The CBI on Tuesday examined Kejriwal in Tihar Jail and recorded his statement related to the Excise Policy case.

Kejriwal has been jailed since March 21 in the money laundering case and is under investigation by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
