ET NOW Global Business Summit 2026
The summit will examine a range of themes, including economic disruption, Industry 5.0, globalisation, workforce transformation, energy security and business diversification.
More than 2,000 delegates are expected to participate in the event, positioned as a platform for dialogue, collaboration and global insight-sharing.
The 2026 edition carries the theme 'A Decade of Disruption, A Century of Change', reflecting the scale of transformation witnessed in geopolitics, climate, capital and technology.
Over the past 10 years, disruption has increasingly shifted from being an episodic shock to a persistent condition, altering the way governments, businesses and societies function.
Artificial intelligence has emerged as a defining force, already changing how people live and work, while climate-related emergencies have triggered repeated calls for urgent, systemic responses and new operating frameworks. The Covid-19 pandemic and subsequent economic realignments further fractured legacy models, accelerating the need to rethink leadership approaches and institutional resilience.
Against this backdrop, as leaders grapple with the demands of navigating long-term change while maintaining stability, inclusivity and ethical innovation, the Global Business Summit aims to serve as a forum for discussions on critical socioeconomic and business challenges.
India's role as host underscores its growing position in the global economic order. As the world's fourth-largest economy, the country is increasingly a focal point for dialogue involving policymakers, business leaders and heads of state.
Over the past decade, the summit has brought together Nobel laureates, senior policymakers, global business leaders, technocrats and thinkers from India and abroad.
Previous editions have featured, among others, figures such as Guyana Prime Minister Mark Anthony Phillips, Commonwealth secretary-general Patricia Scotland, Nobel laureate Paul Krugman, Microsoft cofounder Bill Gates, Blackstone chief executive Stephen A Schwarzman, Apple cofounder Steve Wozniak, Airbnb chief executive Brian Chesky, Netflix cofounder Reed Hastings, Standard Chartered chief executive Bill Winters and Franklin Templeton chief executive Jenny Johnson.
