Election Commission announces schedule for bye-elections in four states; check dates

The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Sunday announced schedule for bye-election to five Assembly Constituencies of Gujarat, Kerala, Punjab and West Bengal.

The polling for the bye-elections in the four states would be held on June 19, according to the official notification. The counting of votes will be done on June 23.



The Commission has decided to conduct bye-elections to fill vacancies in the following Assembly Constituencies:
