Eight crew members of Baltimore ship crash to return to India
After a three-month wait, eight crew members of the MV Daki Cargo ship involved in the Baltimore bridge crash are returning to India, while others remain for litigation. A judge allowed their departure despite city motions to keep them in the US....

On Wednesday, the city of Baltimore had filed a motion to keep the crew members in the United States, but on Thursday, a judge agreed to a deal that allowed eight Indians to get home.
The members include a cook, a fitter, an oiler and several seamen. The order excluded officers from returning. The eight men swore that they would be available for lawsuit-related interviews. The Rest of the crewmembers, including all of the ship's officers, will stay in the US until litigation is finished.
The 13 crew members will stay indefinitely in the US and are moved to service apartments in Baltimore.
According to ANI sources, the ship is set to leave for Norfolk, Virginia on Friday evening. The crew of four members will stay on board for the journey and will return to the service apartments in some time.
No one is charged in connection with the accident yet. However, investagtions are underway. The Baltimore mayor has announced a legal action and ordered to "hold the wrongdoers responsible."
On April 5, US President Joe Biden visited the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore and vowed to "move heaven and Earth" to rebuild the structure.
