Earthquake tremors of magnitude 4.8 felt in Assam

4.8 magnitude earthquake jolted Bangladesh today and its tremors were felt across North eastern region.

Earthquake tremors were felt in Assam's Guwahati and other parts of the North Eastern region on Friday.

The National Center for Seismology said an earthquake of magnitude 4.8 on the Richter scale occurred at 10:16 am in Bangladesh. No loss of lives has been reported.
