Drunk TTE urinates on woman passenger inside a train, arrested at Charbagh station

Another incident of pee-gate has been reported in India -- this time inside a train. The incident happened on Akal Takht Express between Amritsar and Kolkata when a reportedly drunk Travelling ticket examiner (TTE), Munna Kumar, allegedly urinated on a woman who was travelling with her husband. Kumar was not on duty at the time of the alleged incident.

As per reports, the woman was sleeping when the TTE urinated on her. The woman woke up and raised an alarm and her husband managed to grab the TTE.

Other passengers also woke and gathered around hearing the noise from the woman and got hold of the drunk TTE.


They thrashed the TTE and handed him over to the Government Railway Police (GRP).

Kumar was arrested from Charbagh station after a complaint was lodged with the GRP (Charbagh Lucknow).

Police said that a probe will be conducted to ascertain if the accused was drunk at the time of the alleged incident.

Last week, an inebriated student allegedly urinated while asleep in his seat on an American Airlines flight. It somehow leaked and fell on a fellow passenger, who complained to the flight crew.

On November 26, a man identified as Shankar Mishra allegedly urinated in a drunken state on an elderly woman on a New York-Delhi Air India flight. In another case, a man allegedly urinated on the blanket of a female co-passenger on a Paris-Delhi flight on December 6.
