Dolphin poaching racket busted in Gujarat's Porbandar; 10 arrested

The Gujarat forest department along with the Indian Coast Guard team arrested 10 people with 22 dolphin carcasses on Thursday at Porbandar, Gujarat. As per reports the gang members belong to Assam and Tamil Nadu. The Porbandar Forest Department had received information about marine animal poaching and a joint operation was launched to bust the trade. The Forest department officials said that they have booked 10 fishermen under the Wildlife Protection Act for poaching to protect marine animals.
