DMRC and IOCL launches hydrogen-powered buses in Central Vista amid fuel-saving push
Delhi Metro Rail Corporation and Indian Oil Corporation Limited have launched a hydrogen-powered shuttle bus service in Delhi’s Central Vista area, marking a major step towards clean and sustainable public mobility. IOCL said the buses run on green hydrogen produced at its Faridabad R&D Centre and emit only water, making them completely zero-emission vehicles. The initiative comes amid growing focus on fuel conservation, energy security and cleaner transport alternatives as global energy uncertainty and Gulf tensions continue to impact crude oil markets.
