DMK welcomes SC order on OBC quota in medical courses

Stalin said it was a very important victory for the DMK, and for the people of Tamil Nadu. "This is a key milestone in the history of social justice," Stalin said in a statement.It was the welfare of the people that had prompted the party to fight the matter in the court, he said.

Last year, the Supreme Court had rejected the interim prayer of the AIADMK for a 50% quota in medical seats surrendered by the state in All India Quota (AIQ) for undergraduate, post graduate and dental courses for 2020-21.
