In another image, Renukaswamy is seen lying motionless near a parked truck, further illustrating the brutal nature of the crime.
According to police sources, Renukaswamy was brutally beaten with clubs, subjected to electric shocks in his private parts, and thrown against a wall, resulting in multiple fractures.
The chargesheet, submitted on Wednesday, includes a forensic report that confirms the presence of Renukaswamy's blood on Darshan’s clothing, the sources revealed.
Darshan, along with his friend Pavithra Gowda and 15 other individuals accused in the case, are currently under judicial custody in various prisons across the state.
Police reports indicate that the 33-year-old victim, Renukaswamy, was a fan of Darshan and had allegedly sent inappropriate messages to Pavithra, which reportedly angered the actor and led to the murder. His body was discovered near a stormwater drain next to an apartment in Sumanahalli on June 9.
Raghavendra, another accused and a member of Darshan’s fan club in Chitradurga, allegedly lured Renukaswamy to a shed in RR Nagar under the pretence of meeting the actor. It was in this location where Renukaswamy was reportedly tortured and killed.
The post-mortem report confirmed that Renukaswamy, a native of Chitradurga, died from shock and haemorrhage due to multiple blunt force injuries.
Police sources further stated that Pavithra, who is listed as the primary accused, played a key role in the murder. She is said to have instigated and conspired with the other accused, actively participating in the crime.
