Dera chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim & 4 others convicted in murder case of former manager Ranjit Singh

Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim has been convicted by the special CBI court in Haryana's Panchkula along with four others in the murder case of former Dera manager Ranjit Singh.

The gravity of the sentence in the matter would be announced on October 12. The former manager, Ranjit Singh was murdered in the premises of Dera Sacha Sauda in 2002.

The Dera chief has already been sentenced to 20 years of imprisonment, in August 2017, for raping two women followers and for murdering a journalist.
