‘Zero visibility nightmare!’: IMD issues 48-hour dense fog warning for Punjab, Haryana

IMD Director Surinder Paul on Dec 29 informed that dense fog is likely to persist for the next forty-eight hours in most parts of Punjab and Haryana. The chances of snowfall in the hilly areas appear to be increasing on the 30th and 31st. “...Dense fog is likely to persist for the next forty-eight hours in most parts of Punjab and Haryana... There is a chance that dense fog will dissipate from 31st to 1st... The cold will intensify from today. Daytime temperatures will decrease...
