To welcome spring, the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) has organised a 13-day Tulip Festival on Delhi's Shanti Path lawns. February 14 marked the start of the festival, which will last until February 26.

The NDMC imported 1.24 lakh tulip bulbs from the Netherlands and planted them in Shantipath lawns the first week of January.
