Delhi WFH begins: CM launches fuel-saving drive; ‘Metro Day’, ‘No-Vehicle Day’ explained

The Government of Delhi has unveiled a major fuel conservation campaign titled “Mera Bharat, Mera Yogdaan”, proposing wide-ranging measures to reduce petrol and diesel consumption amid the current national and global situation. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta announced plans for two-day work from home in government offices, advisories for private companies to adopt hybrid work culture, “Metro Day” every Monday, reduced government travel expenses and a shift toward online meetings.
