Delhi weather update, forecast: Heavy rain lashes NCR, airlines issue advisories
Heavy rain lashed the national capital today, bringing down the temperature but it led to waterlogging at several places. Monsoon had entered Delhi on Sunday, two days ahead of schedule.

Airlines have issued advisories, alerting that flight operations from Delhi airport could get impacted due to rains. "Due to bad weather in Delhi (DEL), all departures/arrivals and their consequential flights might get affected. Passengers are requested to keep a check on their flight status," SpiceJet said in a tweet.
"Due to expected bad weather in #Delhi, departures & arrivals are likely to get impacted. Please arrive 2.5 hrs before domestic & 3.5 hrs before international departures and do check your flight status before leaving for the airport," IndiGo said earlier in a tweet.
Monsoon entered Delhi on Sunday, two days earlier than its normal schedule, giving a respite from the intense heat. Monsoon had also entered Mumbai also on Sunday. This is the first time monsoon rains reached Delhi and Mumbai on the same day.
