The Delhi Traffic Police have issued a traffic advisory in anticipation of a BJP protest scheduled near the AAP headquarters. The protest is demanding the resignation of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal over an alleged excise policy scam. The advisory, posted on X, highlighted potential traffic congestion areas including IP Marg, Vikas Marg, Minto Road, and Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg. It stated that DDU Marg might be closed for traffic from 11 am to 2 pm during the protest.

Commuters are advised to consider alternative routes to avoid inconvenience. The advisory emphasized, "Kindly avoid these roads and plan your journey accordingly."

Kejriwal was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with a money laundering case related to the now-defunct Delhi excise policy. He is currently in judicial custody at Tihar jail until April 15.

Delhi BJP leaders and workers staged a protest on Wednesday, calling for the resignation of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. The protest, which took place near the AAP headquarters, was met with the use of water cannons by the police to disperse the demonstrators.
