Delhi records 8,500 new Covid cases in 24 hours, test positivity rate dips to 12%

The case count has come down from a high of 28,000 cases that was recorded on April 20.

Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal said that the ICU beds are still occupied showing that the number of serious patients haven't come down.
The daily case count in the last 24 hours in Delhi has now come down to 8500 cases.

The case count has come down from a high of 28,000 cases that was recorded on April 20.

Test positivity rate has also dipped to 12 per cent.


Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal said that the ICU beds are still occuipes showing that the number of serious patients haven't come down.

He added that around 1,200 ICU beds are ready and will be operational either today or tomorrow.

He also said that the govt is setting up new oxygen beds to make sure that it is not found in lacking.
