Following heavy rainfall in Delhi, Lieutenant Governor (LG) VK Saxena has instructed officials to establish an emergency control room to address waterlogging issues.

This directive came after an emergency meeting held to review the city's preparedness and response to the rain-induced disruptions.

Many areas in Delhi experienced severe waterlogging, leading to traffic snarls and difficulties for commuters.

Authorities aim to improve the city's drainage infrastructure and enhance coordination among various departments to better handle such situations.
