Here are the dates, timings, and exemptions for the odd-even scheme in Delhi for 2023:
Odd Even dates:
The Odd-Even scheme will be in effect for a week, from November 13 to November 20. If there is no improvement in Delhi's AQI during this period, the scheme may be extended.
Odd- Even Timings:
Vehicles with odd-numbered registrations can travel between 8 am to 8 pm on odd dates, while vehicles with even-numbered registrations can travel during the same time window on even dates. Normal movement will be allowed outside of these hours.
To clarify, vehicles with registration numbers ending in 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9 are permitted on odd days, while vehicles with registration numbers ending in 0, 2, 4, 6, and 8 are permitted on even days.
Odd Even Exemptions:
Although the odd-even rule applies to all vehicles, women drivers are exempt from the scheme. Those carrying only women and children aged up to 12 years, electric vehicles, and vehicles occupied by individuals with disabilities will also be exempted. Two-wheelers will be exempted, too. Vehicles registration outside Delhi, will also have to comply with the odd-even mandate.
Odd Even Violation Fine:
Violators will face a fine of Rs 20,000.
