- January 16: Schools upload marks based on the point system.
- January 23: First list of selected children announced.
- January 24 to February 3: Query window opens for first list.

- February 10 to February 16: Query window for second list.

Age criteria for nursery, kg and class i explained
The revised age norms will apply from the academic session 2026–27.
- Nursery: 3 plus years to under 4 years
- KG: 4 plus years to under 5 years
- Class I: 5 plus years to under 6 years
- Age calculated as on March 31, 2026
