Delhi Metro Advisory
Delhi Metro or DMRC in an update said entry and exit at Lok Kalyan Marg Metro station, Gate no 3 of Patel Chowk Metro Station, and Gate no 5 of Central Secretariat Metro station will be closed for security reasons.
Delhi Traffic Advisory
Delhi Traffic Police has announced traffic restrictions and diversions in view of the AAP protests.In order to ensure efficient traffic management in the New Delhi area, the following measures will be implemented:
- No vehicles will be permitted to stop or park along Tughlak Road, Safdarjung Road, and Kemal Ataturk Marg.
- General public entry will be prohibited.
- Vehicles found parked on the specified roads will be towed and subjected to penalties for improper parking and failure to comply with lawful directives. Towed vehicles will be relocated to the Traffic Pit at Kali Bari Marg. If necessary, diversion points will be established at:
- Aurobindo Chowk and Tughlak Road
- Samrat Hotel Roundabout
- Gymkhana Post Office Roundabout
- Teen Murti Haifa Roundabout
- Niti Marg Roundabout
- Kautilya Marg Roundabout
- From Bhera Enclave Roundabout, turn left onto Sai Baba Mandir Road up to Sai Ram Mandir, then make a right turn onto Sant Durbalnath Marg (Old PVC Market) up to Udyog Nagar Metro Station, then turn left onto New Rohtak Road. OR
- After passing the Bhera Enclave Roundabout, turn left onto Ch. Prem Sukh Marg up to Peeragarhi Marg, then make a right turn onto Laxmi Narain Bansal Marg or Sant Durbalnath Marg up to Rohtak Road.
- Proceed straight on the Peeragarhi Flyover, then after crossing the flyover, make a U-turn under the Mangolpuri Flyover. Take a left turn from Peeragarhi Chowk towards the Punjabi Bagh side. OR
- From the Bhera Roundabout, take a right turn towards Jawalaheri Market, then take a left turn onto Baba Ramdev Marg up to New Rohtak Road, and finally, make a right turn towards Punjabi Bagh.
INDIA BLOC rally on March 31
INDIA bloc is organizing a rally on March 31 to protest against Kejriwal's arrest by the ED. Kejriwal was arrested on March 21 in connection with the Delhi Excise Policy case linked to money laundering. He was remanded to ED custody until March 28.
