Delhi Metro Phase 4: National capital to get 44 new stations next year, here are route, stations, other details

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) is moving forward with its Phase 4 corridor expansion. Currently, the DMRC network spans over 395 km, including the Noida Metro Aqua Line and Rapid Metro Gurugram, with 289 stations across 12 corridors. Under Phase 4, metro services have started on the Janakpuri West-Krishna Park Extension section, a 2.8 km stretch that is part of the Magenta Line Extension.

A senior DMRC official told Anish Mondal of ETNOW.in that the Janakpuri West-Krishna Park Extension section is now operational, and the rest will be completed by 2026.

Delhi Metro’s Phase 4 expansion aims to add 44 new stations by the end of the financial year 2026-27. The expansion will enhance connectivity across the city with three priority corridors:

1. Maujpur to Majlis Park (12.318 km, 8 stations)
2. Krishna Park Extension to Ramakrishna Ashram Marg (26.462 km, 21 stations)
3. Delhi Aerocity to Tughlakabad (23.622 km, 15 stations)
