Delhi Metro International Limited to make global debut at InnoTrans 2026 in Berlin

New Delhi: Delhi Metro International Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of DMRC, will make its global debut at InnoTrans 2026 in Berlin, showcasing its expertise in metro operations, consultancy, project management and advisory services.

At the biennial global rail transport trade fair, DMIL will engage with transit authorities, infrastructure companies, technology providers and other mobility stakeholders to explore partnerships and opportunities across the international urban transport ecosystem, according to a statement.

The company has submitted five international bids in the last three months as part of its expansion plans, it said and added that it is exploring opportunities in West Asia and select European markets, while evaluating prospects in North America and keeping Africa on its watch list.

At InnoTrans 2026, DMIL will be present at Hall 7.2C, Stand 240, where it will showcase its capabilities and engage with government agencies, infrastructure partners, funders, developers and other stakeholders.

According to the corporation, the 2026 edition of the trade fair will focus on technologies transforming rail transport, including autonomous public transport, cybersecurity, robotics, 3D printing and artificial intelligence.

DMIL CEO Sanjay Jamuar said the event would provide a platform to showcase the expertise of DMRC and DMIL globally and engage with transit authorities, infrastructure partners and mobility leaders from across the world.

"Cities are looking for integrated, flexible and future-ready mobility solutions. We see an opportunity to take our engineering expertise and real-world operational experience to international markets," Jamuar said.

DMIL provides operations and maintenance, consultancy, project management and advisory services for metro, rail and urban transit projects in India and international markets, it said.

It will leverage Delhi Metro's experience in planning, construction and operations to support projects across their lifecycle, the statement said.

Delhi Metro operates a network of more than 416 km with over 300 stations and handles nearly 6.5 million passenger boardings daily, according to the DMRC.

DMIL will offer services ranging from feasibility studies and planning to implementation, testing, commissioning, operations and maintenance.
