According to the report, in the healthcare sector, 38 MRI machines and 150 dialysis units will be commissioned at hospitals across the city. Facilities such as Acharya Shree Bhikshu Hospital, Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital, Guru Gobind Singh Government Hospital and Bhagwan Mahavir Hospital will see significant upgrades, alongside the launch of 101 Ayushman Arogya health centres.
Urban mobility is also in focus, with the Nand Nagri flyover expected to reduce congestion in the trans-Yamuna region. A foot overbridge near the Rajputana Rifles campus is planned to improve pedestrian safety.
Additionally, long-pending dues under the Ladli scheme—financial benefits provided to families of girl children at birth and key educational milestones—will finally be cleared, TOI further reported.
PWD Minister Parvesh Verma described the package as a “gift to the people of Delhi” and said it reflects the government’s commitment to creating a cleaner, healthier, and better-connected capital.
