Delhi High Court bats for Uniform Civil Code, asks Centre to take necessary steps
The Delhi High Court has backed the Uniform Civil Code in India and asked Centre to take the necessary steps further. Justice Prathiba M Singh observed, "Indian society becoming homogeneous, traditional barriers disappearing ... Copy of Supreme Court judgment on implementation of Article 44 to be given to GoI to take necessary action."
