Delhi govt to strengthen home isolation as most new Covid cases won't need hospitalisation: Arvind Kejriwal

The chief minister said that the government has made adequate arrangements and there is nor need to worry in case Omicron cases spike.

Delhi government will strengthen home isolation in view of the rising Covid cases even as chief minister Arvind Kejriwal tried to address some of the concerns around the new Omicron variant.

The chief minister said that the government has made adequate arrangements and there is no need to worry in case Omicron cases spike.

Two more cases of Omicron were detected in Delhi taking the total tally in the national capital to 24. Out of these, 12 have been discharged.


Kejriwal also appealed to the Centre to allow booster shots in Delhi.

Delhi will also now send all positive cases of Covid-19 for genome testing, the chief minister informed.
