The Delhi government has designated Sunday, Chhath, as a 'dry day,' instructing the closure of liquor shops in the city on the festival. The Excise department's order, issued on Thursday, mandates the closure of all liquor vends, considering Surya Shashti (Chhath Puja) which is on November 19 as a dry day. It's noteworthy that this day coincides with the ODI world cup final.
